The gorgeous actress is probably the first Tollywood actress to have had started an online blog, where she would be connecting with fans and also updating them about her life

he entire town is curiously looking out for Rajnikanth’s magnum opus ‘Endhiran –The Robot’. The film is under production for past 15 months and probably will take 4 more months to complete. Meanwhile we hear it from closer sources of unit that producers are planning to release the film by March instead of April 2010.
Recently, action oriented sequences between Rajnikanth and cops were filmed at the busiest roads of Kathipara Junction in Chennai. Peter Hein has choreographed the stunts in an extraordinary style that involves cars clashing over the air and bombs blasting continuously.
As of now, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has completed shooting for her talkie portions and has got couple of songs to be completed.

Rahul Bose's Promo Gets Fiery Reception

Promos for Rahul Bose's new horror movie Fired have been banned from Indian television, being seen as too gory as well as including a sexy shot of Rahul with British co-star Militza Radmilovic. The supernatural film is about the potential pitfalls facing a boss who ruthlessly fires an erring employee. "I feel we have a misplaced sense of censorship," said Rahul, "What I feel is gory or vulgar somebody else might not. Even for the sex scene, I feel people are more mature now and so self-censorship should be the key."

One of Bollywood's most radical and interesting actors, Rahul's movie with equally radical director Onir called I Am is set for the Rotterdam International Film Festival in January. It's a collection of four different short stories - I Am Omar / I Am Abhmanyu / I Am Megha / I Am Afia. "It has been a terrific collaborative effort so far," Onir explained, "We keep talking about team effort. However, it is much more visible and intense when it comes to movies like these where there are multiple crews and diverse cast members involved. It is due to everyone coming together for a cause that has helped me wrap up three stories already."

Green activist Rahul recently played the role of a police officer in the Bengali movie Antaheen, a bitter-sweet love story with the remarkable young actress Radhika Apte, who has been compared to a young Sharmila Tagore. The film was shown at the recent south Asian movie festival in New York. "It has no commercial element in it but there is an emotional resonance in the film that everybody can understand," he confirmed, "It's a very acceptable, urban, good looking and very well shot film."

Naan Avanillai 2, Yogi and Renigunta on Nov 27

With lots of big tickets ready to hit screens in next couple of months, medium budget films are rushing up for their releases. Film Fabricators’ ‘Renigunta’ was supposed to get released on Nov 20. Since, the post-production isn’t yet completed; it’s been postponed to Nov 27.

Trade analysts have stated that even Ameer’s Yogi may get preponed to same Friday (earlier, Ameer had plans to release the film on Dec 4). But then, the list of releases doesn’t end here. Yeah! We’ve the most expected film of this season ‘Naan Avanillai-2’ as well. Producers of the film have decided to release the film on Nov 27.
It’s noteworthy that ‘Naan Avanillai’ released in 2007 was a big success at box office and this has naturally raised everyone’s expectations now.

Indira Gandhi movie details revealed

There has been a buzz that Madhuri Dixit will soon sign Krishna Shah film, which is based on the late Prime Minister of India Mrs. Indira Gandhi. According to reports, Madhuri has still not made up her mind and is weighing all the pros and cons associated with the project. Apparently the actress admitted that she has read the script and is impressed with it. She has always considered Indira Gandhi as her idol and would love to portray her in the film. But the actress has not yet signed on the dotted line. It is believed that Shah is keen on casting Madhuri, so much so, that he took a digitally touched image of the actress as Indira Gandhi with him, when he went to meet her all the way to Denver, USA. Apparently, the movie will be called ‘Mother- The Indira Gandhi Story’.
Some industry sources also suggest that the flick, as and when it happens, can result in a major Hollywood-Bollywood alliance with reports of Shah approaching Hollywood biggies such as Tom Hanks and Tommy Lee Jones for the roles of US Presidents Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon. Dharmendra and Abhay Deol are expected to play roles of Motilal Nehru and Rajiv Gandhi, at least for now.

Nana Patekar too may be roped in to play the late Jayaprakash Narayan. Pre-production work on the film has already begun, and the film is to be shot in the US, the UK and Russia. The first part of the biopic will deal with the early life of Indira Gandhi and will go right up to the 1971 war with Pakistan. The second half will span the rest of her life from the ‘75-77 Emergency to her assassination in the year ‘84. Like his earlier movie, ‘Shalimar’, this too promises to be a very ambitious venture and it remains to be seen how the film shapes up.
